Liam's first haircut!!
Liam's hair was getting a little too long, so it was time to introduce him to the salon. He didn't like sitting by himself on the booster seat, so mom had to suit-up and hold him. He wasn't happy about having the cover draped over him either, but once he got his arms outside he was OK.
He wasn't happy about the idea of having a stranger tug at his hair, especially while holding sharp objects. So, the hairdresser was able to distract him with a few "tools" lieing around.
He was facinated with the soft brush. Distractions are good!
But then again, distractions don't always work...
I was impressed with the ability of the hairdresser to get his hair cut the way we wanted - leaving most of his curls - while diverting his attention long enough to keep him calm. Unfortunately, since his curls remained intact, Liam now has a mullet - a curly mullet at that.
"Hey, this isn't supposed to happen until I'm at least 40!!"
